Airtable for Authors
COURSE STARTS FEBRUARY 24, 2026
Spreadsheets are fine until they’re not. At some point, every author ends up with a tangle of Google Sheets tracking books, a separate doc for their series timeline, a random Trello board for launch tasks, and a notebook full of character details that may or may not contradict each other. Airtable replaces all of that with one connected system designed the way your brain actually works.
This course teaches you to build an author-specific Airtable workspace from scratch. Not a generic project management setup that happens to have books in it, but a purpose-built system for tracking your series, managing your publishing pipeline, organizing your marketing calendar, and maintaining the kind of series bible that keeps your continuity editor from sending you angry emails.
You’ll learn Airtable’s core concepts (bases, tables, fields, views, and linked records) through the lens of actual author workflows. Every exercise uses real publishing scenarios. By the final module, you’ll have a working system you can use immediately and extend as your business grows.
If you’re planning to use StorytellerOS, Make.com, or any of the advanced automation courses in this catalog, this course is your foundation. Airtable is the data backbone that makes everything else work.
