Goal: Help participants identify and validate a course idea that aligns with their expertise and the needs of indie authors.

    “What Indie Authors Want: Finding the Perfect Course Niche”
    • Understanding the audience: What indie authors struggle with most.
    • Validating your course idea using surveys, forums, and pre-sales.
    • How Indie Author Training supports niche courses.
  • Assignment:
    • Define your course topic and create a 1-2 sentence value proposition (e.g., “This course helps indie authors master ___ in just ___ weeks”).
    • Conduct a mini-validation exercise (e.g., survey a few indie authors or post in forums).

Week 2: Structure – Outline & Design Engaging Lessons

Chelle

As publisher of Indie Author Magazine, Chelle brings over two decades of executive operations and leadership experience to the Author Tech Summit. She's a grounded digital nomad currently hunkered down near her adult daughters in Texas, but can't wait until the world opens back up and she can take her empty nest back on the road. It's said she could run a small country with just the contents of her ever-present backpack. She'd rather not put it to the test.
